Civil Engineering List Servers
We use "List Servers" in the Civil
Engineering Department to get information to
our students. All Civil Engineering students are required to
sign up to the General Information List Server (see below for instructions) so we can
contact you with important C.E. information during the semester. You may also sign up for other lists if
you find them of interest. Other classes may also require you to sign up for their
course
list server.
To sign up for one of the list servers, go to
http://cenotes.tamu.edu, and click on:
CEnotes List Server - Lowery (in the left column, 2nd from the top)
Replace JB007@MI5.uk with your email address and
James Bond with your name, then click on the
list server you wish to join.
- To receive General Information
from the Civil
Engineering Department, click on CE-Info. All Civil Engineering students are
required to sign up with this list server, so we can contact you regarding
important information during the semester. To be removed from this list,
simply reply to an email from the server with the word "Remove" as the subject.
- To receive Job Information
sent by employers to
the C.E. Department, click on CE-Jobs. This is mainly for graduating
seniors, but other C.E. students are welcome sign up to see what kind of job
offers are being made. Subscribers will receive copies of the job information
emailed to the department throughout the semester. To be removed from this
list, simply reply to an email from the server with the word "Remove" as the subject.
- For information regarding the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam,
click on FE-Info. This gives deadline reminders for signing up to take the
exam, exam dates, exam locations, etc. To be removed from this list, simply
reply to an email from the server with the word "Remove" as the subject.
- For information regarding the Co-op Program, click on Co-Op Info.
This gives information to those interested in, or currently working in the
co-op program. To be removed from this list, simply reply to an email from the
server with the
word "Remove" as the subject.
- For information of interest to Graduate Students, click on
CE-Grads. To be removed from this list, simply reply to an email from the
server with the word
"Remove" as the subject.
